Dr. Sellers is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Boston, Massachusetts. He provides psychotherapy to adults, couples, and groups, with a particular focus on psychoanalytic treatment. When appropriate, Dr. Sellers also offers medication management.
Dr. Sellers has trained at the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Program, where he currently serves as chief resident of psychotherapy. He earned his medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He is currently a candidate in adult psychoanalysis at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute.
He treats a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, personality disorders, and trauma disorders, among others. Areas of particular psychotherapeutic expertise include working with patients on questions of identity, relationships, intimacy, and belonging, with special attention to the influence of culture, social context, and gender/sexuality on psychological life. He offers both consultation and ongoing treatment.
